Markus&Markus are a theater collective from Hildesheim, Germany founded in 2011. Its members are Lara-Joy Hamann, Katarina Eckold, Markus and Markus Wenzel. The works are characterized by intensive research, whose results are then edited together into films. These video projections form the cornerstone of their live performances. However, the collective is not interested in reproducing reality; instead, they focus on the ways in which the stage and reality interact. Their works have been shown at the Stückemarkt of Berliner Theatertreffen, Freischwimmer and Theater der Welt, Impulse Mülheim a. d. Ruhr and Spielart München.
