JACK’N JILLS DJ-JOCKEYCLUB

Events at "PAF Wohnzimmer" (PAF Living Room)
hosted by Daisy d’Or & Joe Carrera

Hey! Hey! One DJ is not enough for us! In the tradition of Berlin's jockey clubs, multiple DJanes are invited each night to shape the evening in question. Intentionally representing a huge variety of different types of music, a friendly battle ensues between these selected and passionate record spinners. When the gong sounds, its time for the “jockey round”: an exchange of musical styles that can result in interesting collages. Everything is always danceable! And when are you going to dance?

Das Sound 8 Orchestra (Austria/Switzerland/Berlin) is a project by the multi-instrumentalist Matthias Wyder.
Easy listening, low budget lounge music, retro futuristic B-movie soundtracks and psychedelic electro sounds become a mix of sounds somewhere between Lee Perry, Add N To X, Sun Ra and James Bond soundtracks. Wyder’s keyboard sounds are supported by a live drummer and found footage films on three Super 8 projectors - a very special audiovisual experience.
