ALLES IN ORDNUNG examines the reciprocal effect between the institution of the police and its representation in a humorous way. Based upon interviews with the police and those who embody them in films and television series, a piece of documentary fiction unfolds on the set of a crime thriller about the self-image of the police on the screen and in service. Could a change in the crime thriller images that we are familiar with lead to being able to imagine a world without police? Would everything be “in order” then?
