Douglas Bateman

Douglas Bateman is a dance artist and the co-artistic director of the MD Kollektiv in Cologne, Germany. The MD Kollektiv develops participatory events such as The Polarity Party, where the participants reflect upon the nature of polarization. In addition, he creates city tours and developed The Social Within the city, a smartphone app that promotes empathy and solidarity by inviting people to move together, regardless of their global location.
