In public space: Museum Island (Lustgarten)

The productions of RAUM+ZEIT play with the logic of a consistent space-time continuum and the inner world of perception. The theater designs seek the unsettling simultaneity of memory and the present and break with conventional modes of reception. Instead of telling straightforward stories, traces are laid, narrative strands are interwoven, and perspectives are dislocated. In their installations, relationships between spectators and actors are examined and readjusted. The individual viewers are at the center of the action: They are each led alone to a limit at which it becomes questionable whether they are merely observers or already part of the production.
