Calvin Bernauer developed his first own stage piece entitled Re:connect, together with dancer Marlene Kahl and Roy Funke as technical and musical support. The name collapsetofraction came from the idea that a spark for a creative new beginning had been ignited from a moment of collapse and loss. Gradually, Canay Dörtyol and Paula Pröbrock joined the permanent core of the group. Today, the collective is a dynamic team in which everyone contributes their own skills and experience and continues to develop themselves as well as together. In their works, they experiment with different stage settings and also like to blur the spatial dividing line between stage and audience.
