After dancing for 5 years in an urban dance company in Freiburg im Breisgau, Melissa Kieffer moved to Berlin to work with contemporary dance. There she danced for Shai Faran, Maik Riebort and Andrew Wass, as well as in self-directed projects. In 2018, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in contemporary dance at the Manufacture in Lausanne. Since graduating, she has worked as a dance artist with international choreographers Johannes Wieland, Sasha Waltz & Guests, Sebastian Zuber, Victor Rottier, Fleur Darkin, Tamara Gvozdenovic, Michael Schumacher, Alma Edelstein and Breeanne Saxton, among others. She teaches internationally.
