Michelle Félix

Michelle Félix studied dance in Sinaloa (Mexico) and has then worked as a dancer, educator and culture facilitator in Berlin. In her artistic work, she dedicates herself to the traditional dances of northern Mexico. Together with the composer Gilberto Moreno, she has developed the performance Juya Ania in which she uses traditional percussion instruments such as bells and rasp instruments. During the PAF Closing event, an excerpt of the performance will be presented in which Félix shares her personal experiences as a deer dancer and builds a bridge between the ancestral world and the urban present.
