Teresa Riemann

Teresa Riemann lives and works as a performance artist, musician (compositions/improvisations: drums, piano, voice) and author in Berlin since 2012. She moves in her various forms of expression between chanson, rock n' roll and atonal new music, combining contradictory forms and creating new sounds. She loves the sometimes disturbing contrasts between lovely melodies and cruelly realistic lyrics, as well as the contrast between her solo piano programme and the noisier drumming. Since 2010, she has curated numerous concerts, readings, interdisciplinary events and performances from Poland to Tunisia.
