Xiaoer Liu

Xiaoer Liu is a Berlin-based performance artist. Her work rebels against the patriarchy and bureaucracy and fights for human rights and female self-determination. In the performance Cake, she bakes with materials such as plastic foam, toothpaste, laundry detergent and candy. The inedible cake questions mass production and consumption in capitalist societies. Excerpts from the performance will be presented during the PAF Closing event.
