Inspired by her experience working as a moderator in a pay-per-minute erotic chat where Melanie Sien Min Lyn chatted and had cybersex with paying customers via fake profiles, the artist develops a multimedia and immersive performance with Singles Near You. Her research includes forms of affective work, image generation software and post-humanism. The bizarre everyday working experience in the erotic chat is the point of departure for an examination of authenticity, power dynamics and consent on the internet.
A post-screening discussion of "Singles Near You" will be held on May 31.

Accessibility
A continuously accessible, step-free and level access (incl. curb ramp) from the street to the building and to the event area with a width of at least 150 cm is available. No barrier-free parking spaces are available. A wheelchair accessible sanitary facility is located in another building. There is space for wheelchairs or walkers in the event hall/area and there is the possibility of special suitable seat reservation and/or to enter the hall ahead of time.
